What does the ARC Suboxone program consist of?

THE AMERICAN RECOVERY CENTERS(ARC)-MEMPHIS utilizes both a trained and certified Physician who specializes in addiction, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor / Mental Health Service Professional. Together, they build a unique recovery program combining medications for addiction, depression, anxiety, sleeping disorders, PTSD, ADD, ADHD, etc, along with private therapy. Our recovery program at The ARC Memphis will be custom-tailored to help you heal quickly.

What Are the Benefits of Taking Suboxone?

Suboxone (buprenorphine & naloxone) helps eliminate withdrawals and cravings which occur when someone stops taking heroin or an opioid-based pain medication such as hydrocodone/Lortab, morphine, or oxycodone. Suboxone also helps prevent relapse using a blocking agent that minimizes the effects of opioid-based drugs.

Can I Get Suboxone Prescription By Phone or Video Appointment?

Yes! Because of the precautions required as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, The ARC Memphis provides phonevideo and in-person clinic appointments to both new and existing patients. You can literally start a monthly Suboxone program without leaving home except for a toxicology/drug screen using The American Recovery Centers' Telemedicine system.

How Much Does Addiction Treatment with Suboxone Cost?

THE ARC MEMPHIS provides affordable outpatient Suboxone treatment programs to work with most any budget, with or without health insurance. We're open weekdays and every other Saturday to accommodate busy schedules. We provide plenty of discreet parking. Our monthly program consists of one to two doctor visits along with up to four private therapy sessions. The cost is only $350 per month for all six appointments. We also provide everything you need to get reimbursed for all or part of your treatment costs, depending on your health insurance coverage.

Is THE ARC-MEMPHIS a Tennessee State Licensed Addiction Treatment Center?

Absolutely! The ARC-Memphis is one of few outpatient addiction treatment centers in Shelby County who undergoes an annual audit by the State of Tennessee to ensure we meet or exceed state medical requirements for treating addiction and chemical dependency. Our staff includes board certified physicians, MBA-level Mental Health Service Professionals (MHSP's), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC's) and Certified Addiction Therapists. In addition, our case management is second to none.

Can I Take Suboxone if I'm Pregnant or Breastfeeding?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding you will most likely be prescribed Subutex instead of Suboxone. Subutex (buprenorphine without naloxone) is similar to Suboxone in that it eliminates withdrawals and cravings, but does not contain a blocking agent. You and your doctor will choose the best solutions for your recovery and pregnancy. All female clients are pregnancy tested at every visit.

Can I Use Suboxone to Detox from Heroin, Oxycodone, OxyContin, Opana, Percocet, Hydrocodone/Lortab, and other Opioids?

Yes, However, we do recommend having some flexibility with your work schedule when beginning your Suboxone treatment program. Most people transition to Suboxone within 2-3 days of beginning their treatment program.

Is Suboxone the Only Medication Used to Treat Chemical Dependency?

Suboxone is simply a brand name. There are other brand name choices as well as generic versions of buprenorphine & naloxone medications available that provide the same relief at varying costs. Examples include: Bunavail buccal films, Zubsolv tablets, generic tablets, and generic sublingual films. We'll help you find the lowest Suboxone prices in Memphis, North Mississippi, or West Memphis!

Can I transition from Methadone to Suboxone at the ARC?

Absolutely. The withdrawal period from methadone is generally longer and more severe than the opioids it was designed to get people off of! It is not only possible to transition to Suboxone but even recommended that anyone who is tired of the apathy, lack of counseling, and general experience of going to a methadone clinic give us a try. We CAN help you transition to the much safer and more effective medication Suboxone, and our Medical Director is experienced in doing just that.

Do You Treat Anxiety and Depression?

Yes. We provide dual-diagnosis treatment at no additional cost thanks to our board certified physicians and MHSP therapy staff. Additional therapies and medications may be prescribed in order to treat your anxiety, depression, ADD, ADHD, sleep disorders, and more.

The ARC-Memphis located between Gus' Fried Chicken and Guitar Center in the Wolfchase Mall area, at the opposite end of the strip mall that has EatWell Buffet. Our address is 2965 N. Germantown Rd Suite 128 on the border of Bartlett and Memphis, Tennessee.
